A functional website with appealing design and quality content is welcoming to visitors.

More trust = more revenue ($$$).

Logo - a logo is a representation of who you are. It goes everywhere you want to establish your online brand. Throughout your site, make sure that each page has your logo.

Good site name - keep it short and relevant. Be consistent.

A contact page - visitors feel at ease when they see that you can be easily reached.

A DMCA page - for copyright-related requests.

Great content - offer quality content and keep ads to a minimum. Too many ads will ruin the browsing experience.


Your site should also have a purpose to exist. Why was it created?

Designing your site around this purpose will help you provide the type of experience that visitors and search engines prefer. So to be accepted into the AdCenter program, your website site needs a “purpose to exist” first.

Your links must not direct people to non-functional landing pages, including landing pages that interfere with a person’s ability to navigate away from the page. This is one of the biggest trust breakers in digital marketing.


What is a DMCA page?

DMCA: the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512) is a United States copyright law that criminalizes production and dissemination of technology, devices, or services intended to circumvent measures (commonly known as digital rights management or DRM) that control access to copyrighted works. It also criminalizes the act of circumventing an access control, whether or not there is actual infringement of copyright itself. In addition, the DMCA heightens the penalties for copyright infringement on the Internet and requires a response to takedown notices.


If users can upload content to your site: the uploaded content might be copyright infringement and you will receive a takedown notice from the copyright owner. When you receive such notice, you are required to respond as soon as possible.
